Randal S. Kinkade has been teaching outdoor skills in various forms since 1981 and in 1990 followed his vision in creating the Willow River Wilderness School with His wife Susan.

The school offers classes in wilderness survival, primitive technology, corporate challenges and programs that combine wilderness survival with biblical teachings.
